Although small, the PBG team has accumulated a high level of knowledge through a collective fifty years of experience in the veterinary industry. Within the team we have NOAH, SQP, financial and marketing qualifications; the holding of National. Regional and Key Account Management roles; the experience of working in independent practice, the equine industry and internet pharmacies and lastly members of the team have been area managers for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, diagnostic and technology companies.

Chris Lewis
Head of PBG
Chris has been in the Animal Health Industry since 2008, holding sales and management positions at area, regional and national levels. He joined PBG in May 2016 and after holding the roles of Business Development Manager and Commercial Manager, he took over the the running of the buying group in February 2022.
Alongside leading the group, Chris covers Wales and the West, as he feels it important to still be meeting and talking to members regularly, so he continues to understand the needs and wants of independent practices.
Outside of work Chris enjoys reading, watching boxing and is a huge fan of the NFL and the New England Patriots from his time spent working in Boston Ma. Chris is a proud husband and father to his wife Joanna, his daughter Emily and Betty the miniature schnauzer!
Lauren Preece
Marketing & Communications Manager
Lauren has worked in the Animal Health Industry since 2010. Previously working for online animal pharmacies as a qualified SQP, Pharmacy Assistant and then in Digital Marketing, Lauren has a great knowledge of products as well as animal health and the industry as a whole. Lauren joined the group in May 2019 and her main role is to look after the PBG day-to-day marketing activities, managing events and member communications.
Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and family, paddle-boarding, and adventures with her adorable dog, Dasher, as well as occasional trips back to Suffolk.
Centy Tarleton
Marketing and Sales Partner
Centy joined the team in August 2026 as Marketing and Sales Partner, bringing with her over 18 months of experience within the veterinary industry. With a degree in Zoology and a passion for animal health and welfare, Centy has built experience across veterinary events, digital content and professional engagement.
Before joining PBG, Centy worked for a pet nutrition manufacturer, where she supported veterinary events and congresses, managed website and social media activity, and worked closely with veterinary professionals across a range of educational and engagement initiatives.
Outside of work, Centy enjoys discovering new places, spending time with family and friends, and unwinding with video games alongside her partner. She’s also a proud cat mum to Gus, her much-loved Ragdoll, who is never short of attention.
Nathan Worley
Business Development Manager
(South England)
Nathan joined PBG in August 2022 after working in the Animal health industry in 2018. After being a partner to a vet for 13 years and attending many a vet/nurse function, he wanted to apply his skills to the industry. Before this he had successful career as a Salon Support Manger within the beauty industry. Priding himself on excellent customer service and the ability to tailor his approach to fit the customers needs and think outside the box.
Outside of work Nathan has three cats (Ryan,Meg,Felicia) and a dog (Sophie). He can usually be found either exploring the outside or on the couch with a book in his hands. He loves to read and write MM romance and published his first book in 2022. Nathan also likes to play video and board games, watch anything Disney and paddle board with his partner, weather permitting.
Laura Hatcher
Business Development Manager
(West Midlands & North West)
Laura joined the team in June 2024 after working in the veterinary industry for over 12 years. Previously, working for well known pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies, Laura brings with her excellent product knowledge and expertise in account management.
Before joining the veterinary industry, Laura had some interesting and very varied roles, including being a mountain bike instructor and a celebrity spray tanner (you did read that correctly!). Laura is a mum to two beautiful children and has two golden retrievers. She spends most of her time on family walks and enjoys all things outdoors.
Leanne Auckland
Business Development Manager

Leanne joined PBG in April 2025. With a background in Psychology (PhD) and nearly a decade of experience as a Veterinary Practice Manager, Leanne brings a rare mix of empathy, insight, and industry know-how to the team.
After exploring sales and business support roles outside of practice, Leanne has joined us, ready to help both established and growing practices thrive. She’s passionate about people, always looking for ways to make life easier for those around her.
Outside of work, she loves keeping fit, catching up with friends and family – and getting snuggles from her adorable pug, Ethel.
Paige Morrison
Business Development Manager
(East Midlands & East Anglia)
Paige joined the team in August 2026 as Business Development Manager, bringing with her five years of experience within the veterinary industry. Having worked in both laboratory vaccine production and manufacturer sales, she has developed a strong understanding of the veterinary sector from both a technical and commercial perspective.
Growing up milking cows at weekends sparked Paige’s passion for animal health from an early age. Her love of travel and adventure has taken her across the globe, including time working in Madrid during university and three years living in Vietnam, where she travelled extensively throughout Southeast Asia. After returning to the UK with her fluffy rescue dog, Thom, Paige has been enjoying discovering new coffee spots, vlogging, Zumba (although her co-ordination is questionable!) and finding a good country walk with a pub at the finish line.
