Rob and Amber are the husband-and-wife team behind this exciting new start-up, and the care and thought they’ve put into the space is obvious from the moment you walk through the door. The attention to detail is impressive throughout: an upcycled reception desk, charming church-style pew seating, and a considered colour palette, finished off with striking feature lighting above the practice sign.
It’s a practice designed with both clients and patients firmly in mind, and a strong example of what’s possible for anyone considering practice ownership without a huge upfront budget. By starting small, making considered decisions, and sourcing quality second-hand furniture and fittings, Rob and Amber have created a professional, welcoming environment while keeping costs under control.
Crucially, that approach freed up budget for where it matters most. Savings made on the fit-out allowed Rob and Amber to invest in advanced clinical equipment, including a laparoscopic spay kit from Eickemeyer, alongside Virbac vaccines, giving them modern surgical and preventative care capability from day one.
Currently a one-vet practice, they don’t expect that to stay the case for long.
